long time gone

6 Jun

Do you ever feel like months have passed and you wonder where you’ve been all this time?  I find myself feeling a bit like that this evening.

It’s so important to live each day fully present to your body, mind and soul, and I think very few people actually do. Some days I am more successful than others. At times my spirit gets a bit too airy and I was reminded of that when a couple of slipped ribs pulled me back into my physical plane. The intense pain forced me to realize, I take my physical body for granted.  Yes, my body is a vessel in which my spirit lives, but I need to take better care of it!

So here I am, back typing in my blog as a form of therapy for my mind and soul. I do enjoy blogging even though nobody follows my daily, weekly, monthly or annual muse. My words are for me, and it brings me great peace to type  my thoughts as they form in my mind and drift away through my fingertips.

I am coming home!!!!!!!!

Words are powerful and can be used to heal or harm. I believe in using my powers for good. Compassion, celebration of Gaia and our shared humanity, random kindness, the wonder of the human spirit, the poetry of empathy, all inspire me daily.
