karate

6 Oct

I have been interested in karate for several years and have decided it’s time to add it to my bucket list. It makes me feel nervous to consider attending a Dojo for class so adding it to my list will give me some accountability!

Wish me luck!

I started karate when I was 46 and got to green belt before I had to give it up at 48 for health reasons. It was intense physically and mentally and I really enjoyed the experience. Was sad to let it go but health comes first. Have fun and good luck!

Well I am turning 48 next month and decided to start before I turn 50! My 11 year old son tested for his purple belt last weekend. He is my inspiration to try karate.

Just remember … he is 11. Lots of energy and go get ’em at that age. 😉 It’s a different more mindful experience as you get older. I miss it sometimes. … Have fun!!! 🙂
