Even as a 50-year-old woman, I am still finding out who I am. I am a musician, photographer, baker, educator, writer, intuitive, day dreamer and life-long learner.
I have three teens who teach me new things on a daily basis, like how to get over myself. My children help me find the joy and the frustration in everyday life!
We have two rescued dogs, a Boxer and a Boston cross, an American Quarter Horse, a Persian/Himalayan cross cat and a lovebird named Stanlee. I guess you can add animal lover to my list above!
My pets keep me grounded, remind me to always stretch when I wake up, love unconditionally and play everyday.
My life is a work in progress, and I enjoy it that way.
Thank you for visiting and following my blog “Musings of a Horse Mom.” Glad you can tag along … I love that you say your life is a work in progress, as that is exactly how I feel. And when I look at it that way I tend to be nicer to myself. I look forward to reading what you have to say about the journey. Be well, Dorothy 🙂
Thanks for reading my poem. I love your About profile and your kids are cuties! There’s nothing ‘just’ about the words of a heart centred person!
Thank you for the visit and followings blog! Heart centered living is not “just”, very true. It’s a balance to remain open hearted and also protect myself from taking on other peoples’ “stuff”.
I know what you meant about taking on other’s stuff! Difficult when tender hearted and empathic indeed! The ‘just’ was a response to your byline about just being a mum etc, it was a light hearted response and recognition that heart centred living is rare, it was my appreciation of your choice of lifestyle as precious.
